Auto-Tune 4 TDM for Mac OS X and PC can initially be authorized via iLok USB smart key or by Challenge/Response. However, to subsequently reauthorize your software or move the authorization from computer to computer, an iLok is required. For that reason, we strongly recommend iLok authorization.
If your Pro Tools TDM system came with an iLok, you can use that same
iLok to authorize AVOX and Auto-Tune 4 TDM. Alternatively, you can use
another iLok of your choice. If you need to purchase an iLok, they are
available from many local music stores as well online retailers such as
www.audiomidi.com or www.sweetwater.com.
If you do not already have an iLok.com account, you MUST create one
at www.ilok.com (opens in a new window) before proceeding.
We strongly suggest that before proceeding, you log in to your
ilok.com account to confirm the correct user name and password.
Supplying the wrong username during the authorization process will
virtually insure hours of wasted time and frustration. Trust us.

Challenge/Response, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
All reauthorizations of Auto-Tune 4 TDM require an iLok. If you choose Challenge/Response now, you will still have to use an iLok if you ever have to reauthorize Auto-Tune 4 after a computer crash, computer hard drive, CPU, or motherboard change, operating system upgrade, or machine switch. We strongly advise that you choose the iLok option now, rather than having to do it later anyway.
