Authorization
of the Auto-Tune EFX Vocal Suite requires an iLok USB smart key. You
must own a physical iLok USB key (see picture). It cannot be another company's USB key, such as the one
that comes with Cubase.
It must be the iLok brand USB key (it has iLok etched on the back).
An iLok USB key can be seen to the right (although they can also come
in other lovely colors).
If you
need to purchase an iLok, they are available from many local
music stores as well as online retailers such as
www.audiomidi.com or
www.sweetwater.com.
If you do
not already have an iLok.com account, you MUST create one
at www.ilok.com (opens in a new window) before proceeding.
We
strongly suggest that before proceeding, you log in to your
ilok.com account to confirm the correct user name and password.
Supplying the wrong username during the authorization process will
virtually insure hours of wasted time and frustration. Trust us.
Important Note: For ease of potential future upgrade of the individual components of the Auto-Tune EFX Vocal Suite, you have been supplied with separate Registration Codes for each of the individual plug-ins. As a result, you must complete the registration process for each of the four plug-ins. Once you have done that, you can then go to iLok.com and download all of the authorizations into your iLok at once.
