New Wavetables for kantos 1.0
Be sure to download the correct version of the wavetables for your computer. The Macintosh wavetables are in AIFF format. The PC wavetables are WAV files.
Installing your new wavetables
For Macintosh OS 9 Versions
First, close kantos 1.0 if it is currently open.
If you have previously created a "kantos waveforms" folder in your Preferences folder, simply move the wavetable files from the download folder into the kantos waveforms folder (do not move the entire download folder into the kantos waveforms folder).
If you have not previously created a kantos waveforms folder, first add a new folder in the Preferences folder in your System folder and name it "kantos waveforms" (without the quotes). Then move the wavetable files from the download folder into that folder.
The next time you instantiate kantos 1.0, the new wavetables will appear at the bottom of the Wave list for each oscillator.
For Macintosh OS X Versions
First, close kantos 1.0 if it is currently open.
Move the wavetable files from the download folder into the "Kantos Waveforms" folder located here:
<system disk>/Library/Application Support/Antares/Kantos Waveforms
(Do not move the entire download folder into the this folder.)
The next time you instantiate kantos 1.0, the new wavetables will appear at the bottom of the Wave list for each oscillator.
Any additional wavetables that you want to add in the future (whether created by you or downloaded from the Antares web site) can then just be added to this "Kantos Waveforms" folder.
For PC Versions
First, close kantos 1.0 if it is currently open.
If you have previously created a User Waveforms folder in the following location:
<system drive>: Program Files\Kantos\User Waveforms
Simply move the wavetable files from the download folder into the User Waveforms folder (do not move the entire download folder into the User Waveforms folder).
If you have not previously created a User Waveforms folder, first add a new folder in the location above for your operating system and name it "User Waveforms" (without the quotes). Then move the wavetable files from the download folder into that folder.
The next time you instantiate kantos 1.0, the new wavetables will appear at the bottom of the Wave list for each oscillator.
