> UP THIS ISSUE: + Up close and personal with Auto-Tune's new graphical editing mode. + Upgrade to Auto-Tune Evo |
Up close and personal with Auto-Tune's new graphical editing mode. There's so much new in Auto-Tune Evo that over the next few weeks we'll be featuring some of the key new capabilities in more depth than an ad or press release allows. Up this time is the new Notes-based graphical editing mode for pitch correction and pitch shifting. In addition to Auto-Tune's traditional Lines and Curves, Auto-Tune Evo introduces an entirely new method of pitch editing: Note Objects. Note Objects make it particularly easy to take advantage of Auto-Tune Evo's new formant-corrected pitch shifting capabilitity and its individual object-based retune speeds. Clicking the Make Notes button will cause
Auto-Tune Evo to analyze your tracked audio and create graphic
representations of the target notes: Depending on the particular performance, what
constitutes a note versus what constitutes a transition between notes
can be fine-tuned with the Number of Note Objects control. Here's the
same performance with the Number of Note Objects set closer to the More
end of its range: Note objects can easily be edited, shifted in pitch, and individually pitch corrected or retuned. New Note Objects can be drawn with the new Notes Tool, and the transitions between Notes can easily be customized with the Curve Tool. We've even included a new graph display style
called Lanes Mode that's specifically designed to make using Notes for
pitch shifting and melody re-sculpting a breeze: Like Auto-Tune Evo’s other editing techniques, Note Objects can be employed in selected parts of your track and intermixed with the other techniques. You are always free to select whichever method (Notes, Curves or Lines) is most effective for each particular editing task. Upgrade
to Auto-Tune Evo Notes Mode is just one many reasons to upgrade to Auto-Tune Evo. We'll be covering more in future newsletters, but why wait? Upgrades to all of Auto-Tune Evo's evolutionary goodness are available to registered owners of any previous version of Auto-Tune. To upgrade your copy, head on over to the Antares Software Upgrade page and follow the directions there. Thanks! - The Whole Antares Crew
