Up close and personal with Auto-Tune Evo's new resizable graphical edit window

Welcome to the latest in our more in-depth looks at the key new capabilities in Auto-Tune Evo. This time we'll be featuring Auto-Tune Evo's new resizable graphical edit window. (We were originally going to title this newsletter, "Sometimes size does matter," but figured it wouldn't make it through very many spam filters.)

If you regularly use Auto-Tune's graphical editing capabilities, you know that it gives you the most precise control possible over a performance's pitch. But up until the introduction of Auto-Tune Evo, the size of the editing window was set by the size of the overall interface. However, as DAWs have been able to take advantage of more and more memory, and large monitors have grown in size and affordability, our users let us know that they really wanted to be able to see more and more of their track on the display at one time. As a result, Auto-Tune Evo allows you to expand the graphical editing window limited only by the size of your monitor. (In VST and AU hosts, resizing is limited to a maximum size of 1600 x 1200 pixels - still not too shabby.)

And since a picture is purported to be worth a thousand words, these identically scaled-down screen shots of the editing windows of Auto-Tune 5 and Auto-Tune Evo (on a 24" display) should save you about 2000 words worth of reading.
