This year’s Global Producer Challenge raises the bar with a pool of prizes totaling over $100,000 from top companies including Beatport, Beatsource, Loopcloud, Plugin Boutique, Producertech, AKG, Denon DJ, Focusrite, Modal, Novation, Reason Studios, Ujam, Vicoustic, and others. Plus, winners can get their track featured on Beatport’s homepage and influential playlists.
Every entrant will also get an exclusive Participants Pack which gives them free access to plugins, sounds, music courses, and DJ services. Leading the pack among all these great production tools is a free, 3-month trial to Auto-Tune Unlimited, our flagship collection of professional vocal effects.
On August 6th, 30 finalists across 6 genres will be selected to receive $2,500 worth of prizes and 5 finalists from each genre will be considered for a full release and promotional campaign via established labels that include Shogun Audio, Rekids, Def Jam Recordings, Nervous, DJcity Records, and Spinnin’ Records.
Then the 30 finalists will go head-to head in a public vote to be in with a chance of winning the grand prize–a Dream Studio worth $30,000 that includes Adam A7X speakers, the Akai MPC One music workstation, a classic AKG C414 XLS microphone, Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 interface, One Glorious Workbench, Modal Cobalt and Argon synthesizers and a plethora of plug-ins, content and services.
