MusicTech Nominates Auto-Tune for Gear of the Year Award

No longer seen as a method of just fixing out-of-tune vocals or creating interesting distortion effects, Auto-Tune has imposed a distinct and deliberate sonic character of its own over the decades. EFX+ and Artist were recognized in 2019 as “cut-down versions of Antares’ flagship product that deliver all of the Auto-Tune sound with minimal fuss. They even include the class, less transparent Auto-Tune 5 algorithm.”

The key and scale that Auto-Tune is working to can be selected from a couple of drop-downs at the top of the windows.”
