AutoTune 2026 is now simply AutoTune. With the launch of AutoTune Advanced on September 24, 2026, Antares is dropping the year from the product name, so what was called AutoTune 2026 is now just AutoTune. It remains the same plugin, with the same streamlined workflow and the same features, and only the name has changed.
If you have seen it referred to as AutoTune 2026, that name is being retired. Going forward, the streamlined edition is called AutoTune, with no year attached.
What Is Changing and What Is Not
The only change is the name. AutoTune 2026 becomes AutoTune, and the year is removed for good. The plugin keeps the same modern interface, the same core pitch correction, and the same place in the lineup as the streamlined, fast edition of AutoTune. Owners of AutoTune 2026 do not need to do anything, since licenses and installations are unaffected.
In Your DAW, It Has Always Been AutoTune
Nothing changes where you actually work. In your DAW’s plugin list and in the plugin’s own interface, this product has always been named simply AutoTune, with no year attached. The year only ever appeared in marketing and on the website, so for the producers and engineers who open the plugin in a session every day, the name they see and use is not changing at all.
The AutoTune Lineup After the Change
Removing the year keeps the lineup clear as AutoTune Advanced arrives. There are three vocal tuning plugins, each with a clear role.
AutoTune is the streamlined edition, built for fast, real-time pitch correction with the essential AutoTune controls. This is the product formerly known as AutoTune 2026.
AutoTune Advanced is the new flagship for automatic pitch correction, keeping vocals natural and transparent with the all-new patent-pending DVA™ vibrato engine
AutoTune Pro 11 remains the home of Graph Mode for manual, note-by-note editing and harmony generation.
