AutoTune EFX+ 10 and AutoKey 2 are major updates to two of the most widely used plugins in vocal production. EFX+ 10 adds seven new effects, four modular reorderable EFX slots, and a new Preset Browser with artist presets from Aaron Dessner, Imogen Heap, Bon Iver, and Jess Jackson. AutoKey 2 adds automatic tempo detection alongside its existing key and scale detection, plus drag-and-drop audio file support. Both are available now.
What’s new in AutoTune EFX+ 10?
AutoTune EFX+ 10 adds seven new effects — Breath, Reverb, Echo, Chorus, Compress, Low-pass, and EQ — alongside four modular, reorderable EFX slots, a redesigned Preset Browser, and a resizable UI with light and dark modes.
EFX+ 10 builds on the six original effects that have appeared on dozens of hits over the last several years. The seven additions bring the total to thirteen effects, covering cleanup (High Pass, Low Pass, EQ, Compression), creative texture (Breath, Echo, Chorus), and room design (Reverb) — all inside one plugin.
The four modular EFX slots are new to this version: effects can now be reordered within the signal chain, giving producers routing control that wasn’t possible before. The combination of thirteen effects across four freely orderable slots produces a near-endless range of settings.
The new Preset Browser includes custom presets from Aaron Dessner, Imogen Heap, Bon Iver, and Jess Jackson, each designed specifically for creative vocal production. The interface is resizable and available in light and dark modes.
AutoTune EFX+ 10 features:

- Four modular, reorderable EFX slots
- New Preset Browser with updated artist presets from Aaron Dessner, Imogen Heap, Bon Iver, and Jess Jackson
- Resizable UI with light and dark modes
- Six proven original effects
- Compatible with AutoKey 2
What’s new in AutoKey 2?
AutoKey 2 adds automatic tempo detection alongside its existing key and scale detection, plus drag-and-drop audio file support for MP3, WAV, FLAC, and AIFF, and automated key change tracking.
AutoKey already handled automatic key and scale detection — the new version completes the picture by adding tempo. Key, scale, and tempo can now all be detected from a single audio source and sent to AutoTune without a separate analysis step.
Drag-and-drop file support makes the workflow immediate: drop any MP3, WAV, FLAC, or AIFF directly into AutoKey 2 and it identifies key, scale, and tempo on the spot. Key and scale data can then be sent to all running instances of AutoTune with a single click. AutoKey 2 also tracks automated key changes and features a resizable UI with light and dark modes.
AutoKey 2 features:
- Automatic key, scale, and tempo detection
- Drag-and-drop audio files (MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF)
- Send key and scale directly to AutoTune with one click
- Automated key change tracking
- Resizable UI with light and dark modes
- Works with all current editions of AutoTune
AutoTune EFX+ 10 and AutoKey 2 are available as part of a subscription to AutoTune Unlimited or as standalone perpetual licenses.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1What effects does AutoTune EFX+ 10 include?
AutoTune EFX+ 10 includes thirteen effects in total: the six original effects from previous versions plus seven new additions — Breath, Reverb, Echo, Chorus, Compress, Low-pass, and EQ. Effects are loaded into four modular, reorderable EFX slots, so the signal chain can be customized rather than fixed.
Does AutoKey 2 detect tempo?
Yes. AutoKey 2 adds automatic tempo detection alongside its existing key and scale detection — all three can be identified from a single audio source. You can trigger analysis by dropping an MP3, WAV, FLAC, or AIFF file directly into the plugin, or by running it live in a DAW session.
Is AutoTune EFX+ 10 included in AutoTune Unlimited?
Yes. AutoTune EFX+ 10 and AutoKey 2 are both included in an AutoTune Unlimited subscription, along with AutoTune 2026, AutoTune Pro 11, and the full AI-Powered Vocal Chain. Both are also available as standalone perpetual licenses for producers who don't need the full suite.
