The music world turns up the volume when the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards® take over Crypto.com arena on Sunday, February 5th. In a crowded field of incredible talent, Auto-Tune is proud to have several Auto-Tune Artists up for nominations and participation acknowledgements. One of these artists is the multi-platinum mixer and recording engineer, Bainz, who is known as the indispensable technical talent behind rapper Young Thug and his Young Stoner Life Records.

This year, Bainz racked up five GRAMMY® participation nominations for his work with Young Thug, Machine Gun Kelly, and Chris Brown.

Bainz brought us into his Burbank studio to share his thoughts on the GRAMMYs®, explain how he uses Auto-Tune in a live environment, and reveal who he’s calling first if he wins.

“If you win (a GRAMMY) or if you’re just nominated it means that people have noticed sonic qualities… sonically, it’s a good body of work.”
